Islington Hotel was built in 1847 as a Regency Georgian home and sits at the foot of Mt Wellington, overlooking Hobart. There are seven downstairs rooms: two garden deluxe, four garden and a courtyard rooms, including a special services room configured for guests with disabilities. The main two-storey residence has four rooms, each decorated with Tasmanian antique furniture. In keeping with the Georgian design, the rooms are large with king or twin bed options.
